WHO IS: A solo project for Purvis at the end of the 1990s, Germinal evolved with the addition of the mononomenclatured transitory:
Road, Hardy, Baynham, Mildren, Staples and Anthony

The dark alternative project signed to Holier Than Thou Records in 2000.

2001: Contagion Is A Good Thing EP was released and they toured Europe and the southern States of America in support of the work.

2002: Germinal went into a self-confessed hibernation, only to emerge in

2006: ‘From Hibernation’ Elemental Sounds; in association with Lockjaw Records and Progressive Publicity.
2011 ERA_1 has now Finished with ‘Return to Hibernation’ completing the ERA_1 Trilogy.

ERA_2_ Germinal returns to a solo project for Purvis with the release of ‘The Manpig State’ & Monotone.1
